Physical Education
- The 9 year old student has learned about physical fitness and endurance through the activity of redecorating the bedroom. Moving furniture, lifting and carrying items, and painting walls can all contribute to physical exertion.
- By engaging in decorating tasks, the student has improved their gross motor skills and hand-eye coordination. Hanging decorations, rearranging furniture, and painting involve fine movements that require coordination.
- Redecorating the bedroom provides an opportunity for the student to learn about spatial awareness and organization. Planning the layout of the room and deciding where to place items develops their understanding of space.
Encourage continued physical development by involving the student in activities that promote movement and coordination, such as sports, dance, or outdoor games. Additionally, engaging in household chores and DIY projects can further strengthen their physical skills while also teaching responsibility.
