- Counted the number of jumps
- Practiced skip counting while jumping
- Estimating the height of the jumps
- Measuring and comparing the height of jumps
- Observing patterns in jumps (height, duration, etc.)
A creative way to continue developing math skills through trampoline activities is to introduce concepts of angles. Have the child experiment with jumping at different angles and observe how it affects their trajectory and height. They can also measure the angles using a protractor and compare their jumps to see which angle allows for the highest jump.
