Science
- The child learned about the water cycle and how water evaporates from bodies of water, condenses in the atmosphere, and falls back to Earth as precipitation.
- They also learned about the different types of clouds and how they form.
- The child explored the concept of photosynthesis and how plants convert sunlight into energy.
- They learned about the three states of matter - solid, liquid, and gas - and how they can change from one state to another.
To continue developing their understanding of the water cycle, the child can experiment with creating a mini water cycle using a clear container, water, and plastic wrap. They can observe and document the different stages of evaporation, condensation, and precipitation. Additionally, they can research and learn about other natural processes that involve water, such as transpiration and groundwater flow.
