My child will be studying public transportation: what it is, how it came about, why people use it. He will also study our local bus line, where it picks up and drops off, and how much a ride costs. He will then plan a trip to the library via the bus. Once planned, he will make the bus trip to the library with an adult and two friends as a field trip.
