Activity
Cruz participated in a co-op for children in grades 6-12 at Wargo Nature Center. This was a drop off style co-op that started off with the children learning about deforestation of buckthorn and deforestation bierock. The teacher then guided the children on a nature walk, identifying buckthorn and bierock. Once the children were able identify buckthorn and bierock, they were taught how to safely remove it.
