Tips
To extend this learning, revisit the book and ask simple questions like “What animals did you see?” or “What grows on a farm?” Then connect the story to real life by sorting toy animals, pretending to feed farm animals, or drawing a favorite farm scene. You can also build language by introducing new words such as barn, tractor, crops, and farmer, and encourage the child to point to pictures and describe what happens on each page. If possible, add an experiential activity like visiting a local farm stand or looking at photos of farms to help the child connect the book to the real world.
