Mathematics
Adalynn practiced number sequencing by completing a number chart and filling in the numbers that came next. This activity helped her recognize numerical order and use patterns to predict missing numbers. Completing the page independently showed that she applied the number sequence skill successfully. Tips
Tips: Extend Adalynn’s math learning by creating a number hunt around the house in which she finds and orders numbers. For language arts, invite her to label people, places, and things in a room or draw a picture containing one example of each noun category, then write a few sight words beneath it. During Frisbee play, count successful throws or take turns while practicing kind phrases such as “your turn” and “good try.” After the STEM show, use puppets or stuffed animals to act out a short sharing problem and have Adalynn suggest a kind solution.
