Astronomy and Science
Skylar studied stars, galaxies, and the wider universe through her astronomy course. At 15, Skylar was developing research habits and a more rounded understanding of a major historical period.
Art
Skylar experimented with drawing and practised shading techniques that used changes between light and dark to create greater detail. She also discussed comparing older and newer drawings to identify how her skills were developing. This encouraged observation, technical refinement, and reflection on progress. At 15, Skylar was learning how deliberate practice and reviewing earlier work could improve artistic control.
