Jordan compared his iPhone 14 to his Geema's iPhone X and discovered that there were many features that didn't exist on her phone. He watched a power point about Product analysis Technology using ACCESSFM, he created a timeline and compared the different mobile phones over the years. He also learnt about technology push and how and why it might occur. Often materials and technology will be the reason for a product to be developed. He looked at what other products his phone is replacing - e.g clocks, cameras, snail mail. He chose the top five features he likes about his phone. He tempted to think about what mobiles might be like in the future but found this difficult as he felt that his phone has all that he wants. He watched "History of the iPhone" (full documentary) which he found on you tube. He read about John Baird and how he was the first to show that television was possible. Jordan looked at some older mobile phones and was able to hold them and noted the different size of the screens and also was interested to see that they were not touch screen and that to get a word out you had to press the numbers button a certain amount of times depending which letter you wanted. He used his phone to make some animated videos with the drink bottle as the object- experimenting with different effects.
