We visited Kalamunda History Village, a unique village-style musuem with artifacts depicting historical life in the Kalamunda area. This was a great experience for Fox and Row to see historical buildings and gain insight into the daily life of people from the past through the fun, interactive displays. They enjoyed activities such as writing with slate boards and graphite in the old school house, visiting homes from time before water and electricity, washing clothes with a scrubbing board, using an old fashioned iron, visiting the general store weighing typical items with old scales and looking at changes in communication technology, having a go at typewriting, telephoning and using morse code.
