Science
- The child learned that water is made of hydrogen and oxygen.
- The child learned that water can exist in the form of a solid (ice), liquid, or gas (water vapor or steam).
- The child learned that there are two types of water: salt water and fresh water.
- The child learned about the importance of fresh water and how to conserve it.
For continued development, you can encourage the child to explore further experiments with water. They can observe the different states of water by freezing it into ice cubes and then melting them back into liquid form. They can also explore the process of evaporation by leaving a container of water outside and observing how it slowly disappears over time. Additionally, you can encourage the child to learn about the water cycle and how water travels from the Earth's surface to the atmosphere and back again.
