For the first time Muhsin baked sponge cake, he enjoyed baking with his siblings it was a super fun activity and he acquired a lot of knowledge Muhsin learned numeracy skills such as measuring ingredients using tools like scale, cups, and spoon which all have measuring numbers on them he was able to concentrate and look for the correct measuring, teaspoon, cup and the number weight on the scale, he also learned fraction through baking when serving up he was slicing the cakes into quarters. By mixing the cake at the beginning his hand motor skills were not stable. After practicing slowly it enhanced his motor function, control, and strength. He helped with mixing, and pouring, he learned to be patient while waiting for the timer to go off so that he could see his masterpiece a life skill that children need in life, Muhsin put a lot of hard work and concentration into baking. It was amazing to see his self-esteem. He was bonding and communicating. He felt more confident to share his ideas making predictions about what he thinks might happen when the mixture gets mixed, normally he is very shy but through baking, he was able to speak his mind and share.
