Rayyan learned Roman numerals. She created a Roman numeral bingo using cereal cardboard which she plays with her friends and siblings. This was her favorite topic. Rayyan also covered recognising money and problem-solving money questions, when we were out and about doing grocery shopping, she calculated the total amount and also, she has a budget of £5 to spend buying missing ingredients needed for baking sponge cake. Now Rayyan is able to estimate the total using the rounding skills acquired. For example, from her £5 she bought castor sugar, for £2.25, lemon for £30p icing sugar for £1.90 rounded it, and estimated the nearest whole number is approximately £5.
