Im going to skim over this next part because although hunting/harvesting is a very important part of my families life I understand that not everyone agrees with it and I respect that. We had a successful deer harvest this week. The kids were over the moon excited and were up for every part of the harvest. I gave the option of stepping away from the area when handling some of the more “yucky” bits. He joined all the processes with enthusiasm. was able to successfully identify the heart, liver and intestine. He eagerly shared his knowledge about the heart and we expanded on the liver and intestines as well as identifying other internal organs.
