We began our day having a game of tag before settling inside for another guided Rainbow meditation featuring sight and some sound healing to boot. The lads tried hard to get into it and shared what they saw in their minds eye. The drive in was full of attempts to get trucks to beep their horns, unfortunately not one complied this time. The collection of cars game continues... We stopped for a bite to eat before heading into the museum, and the boys all had the children's audio guide which went into detail on some of the incredible, ancient artefacts in a treasure hunt format. They worked together to make sure their audio was pretty much in sync and were fully absorbed the whole time. At the end, there were 4 activities they all engaged in: building a pyramid out of little cardboard boxes; following the steps to mummify a large soft toy human; a snakes and ladders style game about the Egyptian Gods; and writing their name in hyragliphics. On the way out, we were drawn into the Innovation section... I swear we could have spent all day at the museum, but the children agreed they wanted some time at the park to move their bodies. After another food and toilet stop, we found the parking ticket machine and piled into the car. A sneaky stop off at Gusto Gelato in Leederville before heading to Braithwaite Park. I am in awe how much these lads move. They did not stop for the hour or so and climbed, ran, swung and laughed... there was a stack or two, so some regrouping aswell
