So many survival activities today! The children were taught the art of fire starting again with a two-man friction drill they carved. So much team effort in getting a coal, then lighting the spindle and getting the fire started. Once they achieved this, they cooked rice in bamboo over the coals (front cover photo) and a slice of beef on the bamboo afterwards. As usual many group agility games were played.

Art
