- The student has learned how to form complete sentences with a subject and a predicate.
- They have practiced using proper capitalization at the beginning of the sentence and punctuation at the end.

- They have demonstrated an understanding of basic sentence structure and word order.
For continued development, encourage the student to create simple stories using the sentences they have learned to write. Have them draw a picture to go along with each story to further engage their creativity and imagination.
