We learn about a new place as if we were planning a trip to that location. Students will develop an understanding of the geography of the United States, key events and people who helped create the unique culture of that state, and basic facts about each individual state. We cover geography, history, culture, religion, political structures, natural wonders and wildlife, foods.

For continued development, students could engage in hands-on activities such as creating state-specific travel brochures, preparing and sharing traditional foods from different states, or conducting interviews with residents from various states to understand their perspectives on local culture, history, and geography.
