Physical Education

• The student has developed physical strength and coordination through grooming, mucking out stalls, and working with horses.
• Through handling equipment and working with horses, the student has improved their motor skills and balance.
• Engaging in physical tasks related to stable management has introduced the student to the concept of physical fitness and the importance of maintaining a healthy, active lifestyle.

Social Studies

• By gaining an understanding of the history and origins of equestrian activities, the student has learned about the cultural significance of horses in various societies throughout history.
• Through interactions with other staff and owners at the stable, the student has learned about social hierarchies and communication within the stable community.
• The student has developed an appreciation for the responsibility and teamwork required in stable management, learning about the social dynamics of a working stable.

Equestrian

• The student has learned about different horse breeds, horse care, and equestrian equipment, gaining practical knowledge about the equestrian world.
• Through stable management activities, the student has gained an understanding of horse behavior, learning to recognize signs of distress and contentment in the animals.
• The student has developed an understanding of the importance of proper stable management in maintaining the well-being of the horses and supporting the equestrian community.

For continued development, the student could consider participating in equestrian competitions to further their skills, knowledge, and understanding of the equestrian world. Additionally, volunteering at equine therapy centers can provide valuable experience and an opportunity to give back to the community.
