Foreign Language

• The student learned vocabulary related to building and construction, such as “tower,” “brick,” and “structure.”
• Through the activity, the student practiced giving and following simple instructions in the foreign language, such as “build a tall tower,” “add a red brick,” and “make a square base.”
• The student also gained an understanding of spatial concepts as they described the position and arrangement of the Lego pieces using the foreign language, such as “on top of,” “next to,” and “in front of.”
• Furthermore, the activity allowed the student to engage in conversation and collaboration in the foreign language with peers, building communication skills, and confidence in using the language.

Encourage the student to continue their language learning by incorporating more complex building challenges and incorporating new vocabulary related to different structures, colors, and sizes. Additionally, they can practice describing the construction process using sequential language and encourage them to take turns giving instructions in the foreign language.
