An honest roundup of homeschool activity-logging apps in 2026: Learning Corner, Homeschool Hall, Homeschool Moment, Homeschool Planet, HomeTrail and Homeschool Panda. Prices, platforms, and who each one suits.
Last checked September 22, 2026 against each app’s own website. We make Learning Corner, so it is listed first. Every other app is described using its own published features and prices, including where it suits you better than we do.
For logging what your children actually did each day: Learning Corner if you want to write a sentence and get it recorded by subject and skill; Homeschool Hall if your state counts hours and attendance; Homeschool Moment if you mostly take photos. If you plan lessons in advance and tick them off, choose Homeschool Planet or Homeschool Panda. HomeTrail is the strongest free option.

Log each day in a sentence or a photo, at the time it happens, instead of reconstructing the week later. Apps that turn a short description into subjects (Learning Corner) or a photo into a caption (Homeschool Moment) make this quickest.
It depends on where you live. Some US states require days or hours of instruction, others need a portfolio or an evaluation, and some require nothing. If your state counts hours, choose an app with attendance tracking, such as Homeschool Hall, HomeTrail or Homeschool Planet.
HomeTrail has a free tier with learning logs and reporting. Learning Corner and Homeschool Moment have limited free plans. Homeschool Hall has no free tier.
An app you don’t have to plan ahead in. Learning Corner and Homeschool Moment record what happened and work out the subjects afterwards, which suits interest-led learning better than a planner.
