He turned and found Bob struggling to lift a giant, shiny cabbage. With a giggle, Bruce helped Bob carry the cabbage back to their play area. They both plopped down, panting but happy. As they sat next to their “treasure,” Bruce said, “We’ve worked so hard! This cabbage can be our prize!” Bob looked up with curious eyes and then did a silly dance around the cabbage. Just then, their neighbor, a wise old tortoise named Timothy, slowly waddled over. He laughed when he saw the cabbage and said, “What a treasure you have found! But remember, my little friends, it’s not only about finding treasure that shines. It’s the fun you have and the friends you share it with that are the real treasures in life.” Bruce pondered Timothy’s words and looked at Bob. They both nodded, realizing the joy of their imaginative adventure was the best treasure of all!
