Here's a fun way to ask your student about colors:
What color is this? Can you find something around us that matches this color?
By changing the wording a little, it makes it easier for the child to understand and encourages them to engage in the activity.
For example, you can say:
- Can you tell me the name of this color?
- Look around and see if you can spot anything that is the same color!
This way, the child will know you're asking about the color and they need to look for items in their environment!
