What is the Mail System?
The mail system is like a big way to share letters and packages with people far away! Imagine if you want to send a picture you made to a friend.
Steps of Sending Mail
- Drawing a Picture: First, you draw a nice picture. This is like a letter!
- Putting It in an Envelope: Next, you put your picture in an envelope. This keeps it safe.
- Addressing It: Then, you write your friend’s name and where they live on the envelope. This tells the mail person where to take it!
- Giving It to the Mail Person: You can either put the envelope in a mailbox or give it to a mail person if you see one. The mailbox is like a special box that helps send your mail!
- Traveling: The mail person takes all the letters and packages from the mailbox and puts them in a big truck. This truck drives all around town.
- Delivering: Finally, the mail person arrives at your friend’s house and gives them the envelope with your picture inside.
Why Do We Use Mail?
We use mail to send happy things like letters, pictures, gifts, and even birthday cards to people we care about, even if they are far away!
Cool Fact:
Sometimes, the mail travels really far, even to other countries, and it can take a few days to get there!
