A simple explanation of the bronchi and bronchioles for young children.
The bronchi are thick tubes that help carry air into our lungs, and they split into many smaller tubes called bronchioles, which look like tiny branches of a tree. At the end of these bronchioles, there are tiny air bubbles that help us breathe in oxygen and get rid of carbon dioxide.
