Did you know that mother gorillas are very loving and protective moms? When a baby gorilla is born, the mother always stays close and never leaves her baby alone. This is because she wants to keep her baby safe from danger and help it feel warm and loved.

Baby gorillas can't take care of themselves yet, so the mother carries her baby on her back or belly most of the time. She also feeds her baby with milk and teaches it how to find food when it grows older.

Just like how your mom or dad takes care of you, mother gorillas make sure their babies are always near. This way, the baby gorilla feels safe, happy, and ready to grow up strong!
