Look at the Big Flower and the Tiny Hummingbird!

Imagine a really big, colorful flower that is so big it goes from the front of a picture and spreads into the background. This flower is full of sweet nectar inside it.

Now, see a little hummingbird! It's a very tiny bird with fast wings. This hummingbird is flying upside down, which means its head is pointing down and its tail is pointing up.

The hummingbird does this special hovering because it wants to drink nectar inside the flower. It uses its long, thin beak to reach deep inside the flower to get the nectar, which is like the flower's yummy juice.

Even though the flower looks very big, the hummingbird is very good at flying and can hang right in front of the flower without landing. This helps it drink without getting tired or hurting the flower.

Isn't it cool how the hummingbird can fly upside down and drink nectar from a big flower?
