Eagles are big birds that like to build their homes, called nests, in very special places. They often choose cliffs and crevices, which are small cracks or holes in the rocks, high up in the mountains or near the sea.

There are three main reasons why eagles choose cliffs:

  1. Safety: Building a nest high up on a cliff keeps eagle babies safe from animals that might try to hurt them on the ground.
  2. Good View: From the top of a cliff, eagles can see very far. This helps them watch for food and any danger nearby.
  3. Strong Nests: Cliffs have strong places where eagles can hold their big nests tightly so they don’t fall down.

So, eagles build their nests on cliffs because it's like having a safe, strong home with a great view!
