Hi there! Let's learn about a special bug called the scarab beetle.
The scarab beetle likes to roll a ball made out of poop called a pellet. Sometimes, the ground where he rolls the pellet is very hot and burning. To feel better, he climbs on top of his pellet because it's cooler than the hot ground.
But that's not all! The scarab beetle also looks up at the sun while sitting on his pellet. He uses the sun to help him know where to go. It's like how you might use the sun to know if it's morning or afternoon.
So, by climbing on his pellet, the scarab beetle stays cool and uses the sun to find the way back to his home. Isn't that clever?
