Imagine a mother dingo, which is a wild dog living in the Australian outback. She has little baby dingoes called pups. These pups are very young and stay close to their home, called a den.

The mother dingo needs to find food for her pups, so she goes far away to hunt. Hunting means she looks for animals to eat. Sometimes, she catches small animals, like rabbits or birds.

When she brings the small prey back, she does something very kind! She leaves the food close to where her pups are, so they can eat it safely. This way, the pups don’t have to leave the den and can stay safe while they grow bigger and stronger.

So, the mother dingo works hard to find food far away and leaves it nearby for her little pups to help them grow healthy and happy.
