Who Helps on the Farm?

Farms are busy places where lots of work needs to be done every day. Many different helpers make sure the farm runs smoothly!

1. Farmers

The farmer is the main person who takes care of the farm. They plant seeds, water the plants, feed the animals, and make sure everything is growing well. Farmers work very hard from morning to evening.

2. Farm Workers

Sometimes farmers have helpers called farm workers or farmhands. These helpers do jobs like feeding the animals, picking fruits and vegetables, fixing fences, and cleaning the barns.

3. Animals

Animals also help on the farm! For example, horses can pull plows or carts, bees help pollinate flowers so fruits and vegetables can grow, and dogs help herd sheep and guard the farm.

4. Machines

Farm machines like tractors and harvesters help farmers do their work faster. Though not living helpers, these machines are very important on farms.

Summary

So, on a farm, farmers, farm workers, animals, and machines all work together to help grow food and take care of the land. Everyone plays an important role!
