Hi there! Let's learn about something called dry grasslands.

Dry grasslands are big open places where there are mostly grasses, like the kind you see in parks. These places don't have many trees because they don't get much rain, so it's hard for big trees to grow. They can feel very windy and sometimes have sandstorms, which means the wind blows a lot of sand in the air.

In one part of the world called Eurasia (that's Europe and Asia together), dry grasslands are called the Great Steppe. In another part called America, people call them prairies.

So, dry grasslands are wide, open areas with lots of grass, few trees, strong winds, and not much rain!
