Hi there! Let me tell you about a very special bird called the Namaqua sandgrouse. This bird lives in places where it is very hot and dry, and it's hard to find water.
When the baby birds, called chicks, get thirsty, the mother or father bird has a smart way to bring them water. It flies to a river or pond and soaks its feathers in the water. The water sticks to the feathers like a sponge.
Then, the bird flies all the way back to the chicks with its feathers full of water. When the chicks are near, the bird lets the water drip out so the babies can drink and feel better.
Isn't that amazing? The sandgrouse uses its feathers like a water bottle to help its thirsty little ones survive in the hot desert.
