Hi there! Let's talk about a special bird called the Namaqua sandgrouse. This bird lives in very dry places where there's not much water.
The bird has a clever way to help its baby chicks drink water. When the mother sandgrouse finds water, she soaks her belly feathers in the water. Her feathers hold the water like a sponge!
Then, she flies back to where her baby chicks are waiting. Because her feathers are wet, the chicks can drink the water from her feathers to stay cool and not get thirsty.
Isn't that amazing? The Namaqua sandgrouse uses its feathers to carry water just like you might carry a glass of water to your friends!
