Hello! Let's talk about deserts and why they change temperature so much.

During the day, the sun shines really bright and warms everything up, including the sand. That's why the sand feels very hot when you touch it.

But at night, the sun goes away, and there is no more warm sunshine. Without the sun, the sand doesn't stay hot and gets very cold.

So, deserts are hot during the day because the sun is shining, and they are cold at night because the sun is gone!

Isn't it interesting how the sun makes such a big difference?
