Total Quality Management (TQM)
Total Quality Management is like a big teamwork plan to make sure everything a company does is the best it can be. Imagine a school where all teachers, students, and staff work together to make sure the school is great and everyone is happy.
Six Sigma Concept & DMAIC
Six Sigma is a special method to find and fix problems so things go smoothly and there are fewer mistakes. It uses a step-by-step process called DMAIC which means:
- Define: Understand what problem needs fixing.
- Measure: Check how bad the problem is.
- Analyze: Find out why the problem happens.
- Improve: Fix the problem with a good plan.
- Control: Keep checking to make sure the problem doesn’t come back.
Quality Function Deployment (QFD)
QFD is like making a special list to make sure what people want is what’s made. For example, if you want a toy, QFD helps designers understand exactly what you want so they can create the perfect toy.
Quality Systems and Standards
These are like awards or certificates that show a company or organization is doing great work and following the best rules.
- EFQM (European Foundation for Quality Management): This is a way for organizations to check how well they’re doing in areas like leadership, people, and processes.
- The Malcolm Baldrige National Quality Award (MBNQA): This is a special award in the USA given to companies that show excellent quality and performance.
- Government Excellence Framework (منظومة التمييز الحكومي): This is an important system used by governments to make sure public services are done very well and improve constantly.
In simple words, all these ideas teach organizations how to work smartly, keep customers happy, and always get better!
