Bees are amazing little insects that make honey! Here's how they do it:
First, a bee flies out of its home, called a hive, and visits lots of colorful flowers. The bee sucks a sweet liquid called nectar from the flowers using a special straw-like tongue.
It collects nectar in a special pouch inside its tummy called a honey stomach. When the bee has enough nectar, it flies back to the hive.
Back at the hive, the bee passes the nectar to other bees, who chew it and turn it into honey. Then, they store the honey in little cells made of wax. After some time, the honey becomes thick and sweet, ready for the bees (and us) to eat!
So, making honey is like a big team effort where bees fly for hours collecting nectar from flowers and working together to make tasty honey.
