Hi there! Let me tell you about fleece and wool, two types of warm clothes materials that keep us cozy.

Wool comes from sheep. Imagine a fluffy sheep with a thick, furry coat. People gently cut the wool from the sheep and use it to make sweaters and warm blankets. Wool feels a little scratchy but keeps you very warm because it holds in your body heat.

Fleece is made by people using special soft threads from plastic (called polyester). It feels really soft, a bit like a cuddly teddy bear, and is also very warm. Fleece is lighter than wool and dries faster if it gets wet.

So, in short:

  • Wool = from sheep's fluffy coat, warm but sometimes scratchy.
  • Fleece = soft, made by people from plastic threads, also warm and dries quickly.

Both keep us comfortable when it’s cold outside!
