Seabirds are a special group of birds that spend most of their lives flying over the sea. Why? Because they eat fish, and fish live in the water. These birds are very good at flying long distances, and they follow the fish in the sea to find food.

When seabirds fly over the water, they watch carefully to spot fish swimming near the surface. Once they see some fish, they dive or swoop down to catch them with their beaks. Some seabirds can even dive deep into the water to catch fish.

This way of living helps seabirds get enough food to stay healthy and strong. By flying over the sea, they can find lots of fish to eat every day!
