Bees are very busy little helpers! They fly around collecting sweet nectar from flowers. Then, they bring the nectar back to their home, called a beehive.

Inside the beehive, there are lots of small holes called honeycomb pockets. These pockets are made from wax, which bees make from special parts of their bodies.

The bees put the nectar into the honeycomb pockets. Next, they gently cover or 'cap' these pockets with a thin layer of wax to keep the honey safe and fresh.

This way, the honey stays yummy and ready for the bees to eat when they need energy.
