Bees are very hard workers! First, they collect sweet nectar from flowers. Then, they bring it back to their home called a hive. Inside, the bees put the nectar into tiny little pockets that look like small boxes called honeycombs. After filling these pockets, the bees cover them with a thin layer of wax. This wax acts like a lid to keep the honey safe and ready to eat later. So, bees make honey by filling the honeycomb pockets with nectar and sealing them with wax to keep it fresh and yummy!
