Here are three ways to say the forest scene differently, so a 4-year-old can enjoy it:
- During the day: Birds sing happily in the trees, a big moose eats green grass, and squirrels search for pine cones.
At night: A quiet lynx sneaks around to find food, and frogs make croaking sounds. - When the sun is up, lots of birds sing songs. A moose nibbles on soft grass, and little squirrels hunt for cones.
When the sun goes down, a lynx comes out to look for dinner, and frogs croak loudly. - In the daytime, the forest is alive with birds singing. A moose enjoys eating grass, while squirrels gather cones.
At nightfall, a lynx goes out to hunt, and frogs croak by the water.
