Hi there! Do you know what honey is? It’s the sweet, yummy stuff made by bees!

Bees are little flying insects that collect nectar from flowers. Nectar is like a sweet juice inside flowers. The bees take this nectar back to their honey nest, which is called a beehive.

Inside the beehive, the bees work together to change the nectar into honey. They store the honey in special little rooms called honeycombs made out of beeswax. This honey is food for the bees, especially when it’s cold outside and there aren’t flowers to get nectar from.

So, how do the bees find their honey nest? Well, bees have a great sense of smell and can remember where their hive is. When they fly out to get nectar, they use the sun, landmarks like trees and flowers, and their amazing sense of smell to find their way back home.

Isn't that cool? Bees work very hard to make delicious honey and always find their nest to keep everyone safe and happy!
