Hello! I’m a neuron, which is a tiny cell inside your brain and body. Even though I’m very small, I have a very important job. Lots of cells like me work together to make your brain and nerves. These neurons help your brain to think, learn, and control your body.
Think of neurons like little messengers. When you touch something hot, tiny signals travel through neurons to tell your brain, "Ouch! That hurts!" Then your brain sends messages back to move your hand away quickly.
So, neurons are like the brain's special helpers that carry important messages all around your body. Without neurons, your brain wouldn’t be able to talk to your body or help you do things like run, jump, or even smile!
