Hi there! Let's talk about clouds in the sky.
Have you ever looked up and seen big, fluffy clouds floating above? Clouds are made of tiny drops of water or tiny bits of ice, but you can't see these drops because they are so small!
Here’s how the clouds are made:
- The sun warms up water from lakes, rivers, and oceans.
- The water turns into a kind of invisible gas called water vapor that goes up into the sky.
- When the water vapor gets high in the sky, it cools down and turns back into tiny drops of water.
- All these little drops stick together to make clouds!
Clouds float because the tiny drops of water are so light, and the air carries them up. Sometimes clouds get full of water and the drops get bigger, and then the clouds let go of the water as rain!
Isn’t it fun to watch the clouds and imagine all the different shapes they make?
