What are Dinosaurs?
Dinosaurs were special animals that lived a very, very long time ago, even before there were people! They were different from animals we see today because some were as big as a house, and some were small like a dog.
Some Friendly Dinosaur Names
- Tyrannosaurus Rex (T-Rex): A big, strong dinosaur with sharp teeth.
- Triceratops: A dinosaur with three big horns on its head.
- Brachiosaurus: A very tall dinosaur with a long neck to reach leaves on tall trees.
Why Are Dinosaurs Fun?
Dinosaurs are fun to learn about because they look very different from animals today. We find their bones in the ground, called fossils, which help us understand how they lived a long time ago.
