A day at the beach is super fun, especially for kids around 6 years old! You can do lots of exciting things like:

  • Sunbathing: This means lying down in the warm sunshine, but it’s important to wear sunscreen so your skin doesn’t get hurt by the sun.
  • Making Sandcastles: Use your hands or special buckets and shovels to build castles and other shapes in the sand. It’s like creating your own little world!
  • Swimming with Dolphins and Sea Turtles: Sometimes, in the ocean, you can swim near friendly animals like dolphins and sea turtles. They are gentle and fun to watch.

But be careful too! The ocean has animals like sharks and jellyfish that can sometimes be dangerous. Sharks usually stay far away from people, but if you ever see one, tell a grown-up right away and get out of the water calmly.

Jellyfish can sting if you touch them. Their sting can hurt, so it's best not to touch any jellyfish you see in the water or washed up on the beach.

Always swim where there is a lifeguard and with an adult nearby. That way, you can have lots of fun and stay safe at the beach!
