When Firefighters Get a Call!

Firefighters are superheroes who help us when there is a fire or an emergency. So, what happens when they get a call? Let’s take it step by step!

  1. Someone Makes a Call: When people see a fire or hear a loud alarm, they call the firefighters. They pick up a telephone or use a special phone at home.
  2. The Fire Station Gets the Call: The telephone rings at the fire station. This is where firefighters work and get ready to help.
  3. Firefighters Listen: A person at the fire station answers the phone and listens to what is happening. They ask questions like, 'Where is the fire?' and 'Is anyone hurt?'
  4. Time to Go: As soon as they have the information, the firefighters quickly put on their gear. This gear helps keep them safe. They wear helmets, jackets, and boots!
  5. Jump in the Fire Truck: The firefighters hurry to their big red fire truck. They buckle up and turn on the lights and sirens. Woo woo! Can you hear that?
  6. Driving to Help: The fire truck drives fast to the place where the fire is. They have to be extra careful and follow the traffic rules.
  7. Helping People: When they arrive, the firefighters get out of the truck and see how they can help. They might use hoses to spray water on the fire or help people who need it.

And that is what happens when firefighters get a call! They are always ready to help us when we need them the most!
