Submarine
A submarine is a big boat that can go under the water. It can go deep like a fish.
- It is long and round.
- People sit inside and can look out with small windows or a periscope (a little tube to see above water).
- It can go down under the sea and come back up to the top.
How it moves: it uses a motor to go forward and special tanks that fill with water to go down and push the water out to come up.
Play idea: use a toy submarine in the bathtub. Push it down and let it float up. Pretend you are on a sea adventure!
