Corrected sentence:
Astronauts live and work on the International Space Station (ISS) for many months.
Even simpler (for a 7-year-old):
Astronauts live and work on the space station for many months. They float because there is very little gravity.
Why we changed it (easy steps):
- Put the sentence together without weird line breaks.
- Use lowercase for 'astronauts' unless it is the first word of a sentence.
- Say 'on the station' instead of 'at the station' because people live and move around on it.
- Write the full name first, then the short name: International Space Station (ISS).
- Add a period at the end of the sentence.
- 'Zero gravity' is commonly used, but for kids say 'very little gravity' or 'they float' so it is clearer.
